The Annual Meeting of the Parish Council, held on Wednesday 9th May 2018 in the Village Hall, at 7.15pm.

1. Apologies: None

Present: Cllrs. Martin Allen (Chairman), Martin Baker, Brian Gale, Patricia Lennard, Katrina Maxwell and Terry Oxman – also Cllr David Hall (SCC) and Liz Perry (SDC).
 
Members of the public:  Seven members of the public.

Quorum. Confirmed as present ( a quorum is 3 councillors).

2. Minutes of the previous annual meeting of 22nd May 2017 were taken as read, approved and signed.

3. Election of Chairman. Martin Allen indicated his willingness to stand again for the post of Chairman for the coming year. He was proposed by Cllr Lennard and seconded by Cllr. Gale. There were no other nominations.

4. Election of Vice-Chairman. Nominations were invited. Martin Baker was proposed by Cllr Lennard and seconded by Cllr. Gale. No other nominations.

5. Election of Footpaths Officer. Mark Smith had indicated to the Clerk that he was prepared to continue in this position. He was proposed by Cllr Baker and sconded by Cllr Oxman. No other nominations.

6. Election of Parish Pothole Liaison Officer. Mark Smith had indicated to the Clerk that he was prepared to continue in this position. He was proposed by Cllr Oxman and seconded by Cllr Lennard. No other nominations.

7. Election of Webmaster. Mark Smith had indicated to the Clerk that he was prepared to continue in this position. He was proposed by Cllr Baker and seconded by Cllr Lennard. No other nominations.

8. Election of two Parish Councillors as representatives in the Village Hall Management Committee. Both Ray Triggol and Pat Lennard had indicated their willingness to continue in these positions and were proposed by Cllr Gale and seconded by Cllr Oxman. No other nominations.

There being no other business, the Chairman declared the meeting closed at 7.25 pm.
